About Us

The founder of Samatva, Psychologist Namrata Jagwani believes in the significance of balance in life. Life can often feel like a juggling act of competing demands, leaving us feeling off-centre. Hence, the essence of Samatva (Sanskrit) lies in its meaning of equanimity, harmony, and balance.


At its core, our symbol represents two hands holding a person who is striving to find balance in life. The three dots, intentionally placed in an imbalanced manner, reflect the human journey of seeking alignment and stability, while the hands symbolize support and holding through that process. Interestingly, the design also carries a resemblance to the form of Lord Ganesha, revered as Sukhkarta (the one who brings joy) and Dukhharta (the one who removes difficulties). This connection emerged unintentionally yet beautifully. The chosen background, a warm brown earthy texture, embodies grounding and rootedness- qualities that lie at the foundation of our work.


At Samatva, we believe that no matter how off-balance things may seem, you possess the innate capacity to find your center. We are here to offer the steady support you need to get there.

The Initial Exploration


Healing begins with understanding. In our first few sessions, we will focus on building a safe, trusting relationship. We will explore your current challenges, discuss your history, and collaboratively identify your goals for therapy. This is a time for us to understand your unique world and map out a path forward together.

The Collaborative Work

This is where the active process of therapy takes place. Guided by trauma-informed practices, we will explore underlying patterns, process difficult emotions, and build new, adaptive coping mechanisms.

What can I expect from therapy sessions?

Therapy offers a confidential and collaborative space to work through emotional concerns like anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship issues, and more.
Sessions follow a clear structure:

Initial Intake Session: Understanding your history, concerns, and therapy goals

● Informed Consent: You’ll receive clarity on confidentiality, process, and therapist role

Ongoing Sessions: 50 mins to 1 hour, once or twice a week (customized to your pace)

Follow-up & Review: Periodic reviews to track your growth and adjust your plan

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. All sessions are 100% confidential and conducted in line with professional ethics and telehealth guidelines. No personal details or session content is shared without your written consent—except in cases of risk to life or legal obligations, which will be discussed transparently.

Are sessions available internationally?

Yes. Therapy is available online for clients across India and abroad. Time zones are accommodated, and all sessions comply with ethical standards of virtual mental health care.

What is the duration and format of each session?

Each session runs for 50 to 60 minutes and takes place over a secure video platform. The frequency (weekly/bi-weekly) and number of sessions are customized depending on your needs and comfort. Short-term or long-term therapy options are available.

How do I book and pay for sessions?

All services are booked through the TealFeed Booking Page, where you can directly select your slot and make payment via UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, and other online modes.
After booking, you'll receive WhatsApp and email confirmations + reminders automatically.

What is your rescheduling or cancellation policy?

Sessions can be rescheduled only with prior notice and therapist approval. Refunds are considered only under exceptional circumstances and at the therapist’s discretion. Please respect the time commitment and plan your appointments accordingly.
